THIS WEEK IN CHOIR

Hello Choir Families,

It’s almost show time! The kids are hard at work putting the finishing touches on the show. This week we chose our soloists and started running each set without stopping to work out all of the bugs. Girls are practicing in their character shoes and SIX had it’s last rehearsal today! It’s going to be a great show and the students are doing some incredible work. Please invite all of the friends and family.

We went over this in class and students completed a worksheet that was due today.

Costumes that were taken home should be returned to the classroom by Halloween so they are ready to go for Monday’s dress rehearsal. Please make sure everything is labeled. Costumes and be brought back anytime next week.

Sight Reading Tests

Students took their first sight reading test this week and most of them did very well! (Studio Singers did their test last week) I’m very excited about the growth I’ve seen with them in this area. I sent the written tests home with them today and they will be making a video of themselves singing the exercise. We will have half of the class period Monday to work on it and students will have until Midnight Thursday to turn in their video on Google Classroom.
