THIS WEEK IN CHOIR

Hello Choir Families,

I’m hard at work on a very fun staff lip sync video that will debut at the lip sync battle on Wednesday. Please come out and support our performers AND raise money for the choir program. If you are unable to attend, you can watch the performances on our website all next weekend and vote for your favorite. I’ve added a couple of events to the calendar, so be sure to scroll down. And please post the following on your social media accounts!

Lip Sync Battle

We are in need of a the following people to help out with Lip Sync Battle Wednesday from 3:00-4:30 Ticket takers, voting table monitor, and a room chaperone (can be a high school student)

Lead Parents for Sound Waves and Soul Men

You will arrange social activities for the choirs, collect snack donations for after school rehearsals and competitions, organize in class parties, travel to competitions and be a familiar face for the kids to go to if the directors are busy.

Costume, hair, makeup Coordinator

Assist Mrs. Wallace and Kylie in choosing and styling costumes, creating looks for hair and make up, and helping the students get ready on show days. You will also pack the show bag for competitions with all of the styling products and extra costume pieces. Studio

Start Putting your Costume Together

I’ve been talking with the kids in class about costumes, and we will be doing fittings on Oct 4th. The boosters will be supplying some of the costume pieces, and students will provide the rest. If you find you have extra of anything, please consider sending that in so we make sure everyone has what they need.
