Studio Singers

Studio Singers is an all-girls advanced choir and is for students who are “all in.” This choir requires students to sight read, sing, dance, and perform well. Students are expected to learn music and choreography outside of class hours. All rehearsals and performances are mandatory. Ample notification will be given for all concerts, rehearsals, and activities. Excused absences for performances and rehearsals are due two weeks prior to the event or earlier. If advanced notice is not given (save for extreme situations), the student will receive no credit and no make-up opportunities. Participation in this choir will prepare students for advanced choirs in high school and provide opportunities to meet and work with the Los Alamitos High School choir director. This choir will attend at least two show choir competitions and possible community events along with three McAuliffe concerts, District Choral Festival, and Knott’s Berry Farm.
